Hi guys! So as promised... I will do a write up about my lovely wedding cake from Mati.
It was made by Tita Luchie Morales Borja. Well, I believe she's already a famous baker from Mati. I am so glad she offered to make a cake for me at my wedding. First of all, her wedding cakes are beautifully grand! Just looking at the photos of her creations... they are fabulous!
But here's the best about her cakes, it isn't just beauty... it is also heavenly delicious. I don't even know how to describe it.. just enough sweetness HINDI NAKAKAUMAY. And when it's frozen, it tastes like chocolate ice cream cake. It's really that good.
If I could just afford for everyone to get a free taste, I will have everyone get a taste so they would know what I mean.
Tita Luchie does not only bake party cakes. She also makes the best tasting banana cake ever. My sister is over the heels addicted to it. She was promised with two boxes of banana cake at my wedding and she kept it all by herself... she almost got into a fight. She's 21 by the way and she's normal. Hahaha. Aside from the best-selling banana cake, Tita Luchie also makes Butterscotch, Ube Jam, Brownies, Leche Flan, Cassava Cake and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
The saddest thing about it is that she's 4-hour drive away.... she said she delivers to Davao but only if they have someone available to drive them from Mati. They will no longer have the cakes travel from Mati by a passenger van or bus. The travel actually ruined my cake.
