#ShineEatventures: Cafe Lagoon, Amiya Residences

by - 12:35:00 AM

Hi everyone, Team #ShineEatventures had a very relaxing picnic at Cafe Lagoon yesterday! If you want a place away from the hustle and bustle but don't really wanna travel that far... then there's a perfect place for you.

Cafe Lagoon, Amiya Residences offers a relaxing ambiance if you needed that much awaited relaxing day off. This is where you can just sit on your "banig," eat your favorite grilled panga or maybe a sweet style spaghetti, refresh yourself with their tropical non-alcoholic cocktail and watch kids run around.

You can also go boating or fishing with your kids. Rent a boat for 100 pesos per hour, or a rod for 50 pesos per hour. You can have the fishes caught either cooked or you can take it home, you just have to pay 280 pesos per kilo.

You can surprise your girlfriend or wife with a romantic dinner in their Japanese Hut or propose under the starry night beside the lagoon. They'll have it set up for you.

You can invite your whole barkada with an inuman and acoustic session and stay until 1am.  They serve hugot barkada short orders and beer bucket.

Planning for a wedding by the lagoon? or a garden wedding? They also accommodate wedding and prenup sessions. Even birthday parties and company events. Their buffet starts at 250 for kids and 450 for adults with a minimum of just 30 people. For prenup sessions, they offer full setup and place rental for 3,500 and consumable.

What's really good about the place is that you can just visit anytime, no entrance fee. Just order a food, go on a picnic with your family and just chill. You can even bring your furry friends.

The famous Camp Sawi of Davao, Cafe Lagoon, is located along Libby Road, inside Amiya Residences and Resort, Puan, Davao City. We travelled from Ecoland and paid around 150 pesos taxi fare. You can also ride a jeepney to Puan then ride a tricycle to Amiya Residences. Unfortunately, tricycles can only drop you at the Amiya Residences Gate. But management says, eventually, they will provide a shuttle when needed.
