We were on episode 6 when we found the news that they are cutting this drama down from 16 to 12 episodes because of the poor reception from Korean viewers. Sobrang nakakasad non. We get that it’s actually a little confusing on it’s 1st and 2nd episodes but once you get past that, you’ll get to see the beauty of the drama.

The drama is about forgiveness, healing, moving on and letting go in the most heartwarming way. It even tackled a little about death in the lightest fashion. This melodrama is not overly dramatic pero hindi rin siya sobrang light. And the best thing about this drama is that love was conveyed in its purest, most innocent form. Ha Won and Seo Woo’s love is so pure that you would want to protect it at all cost.

𝗠𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮:

  • 🌻This is a cliche but this drama reminded me that forgiving someone is not just for the person you forgive but it is also for you and for the people around you. When you are struggling because of the pain you’ll realize that the only way for you to free yourself from that is to forgive. Of course, you can still take your time...
  • 🌻When you also struggle for causing pain to someone, I realized that it is important to forgive yourself first.
  • 🌻I found it unhealthy before, I am not sure if tama ako this time… but I realized that it's okay to ask help from someone to heal and move on.
  • 🌻And lastly, this is another reminder to always empathize. You can never measure how difficult someone is going through just by watching and judging. Kahit nga you put yourself in her shoe, you can never fully understand how she or he feels so do not ever invalidate someone’s feelings. BEKIND. always.

These are just a few lessons but I bet there are still more.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵:
  • 🌻Super heartwarming and refreshing ng chemistry ni Jung Hae-In at Chae Soo Bin. I finally found someone worthy to ship with Hae-In.
  • 🌻I love the OST! Listen to Rain or Shine. Super ganda.
  • The cinematography is pretty too. Lalo na yung Norway scenes and coffee shop scenes.
  • 🌻EUNJOO HOMESTAY Squad! Gustong-gusto ko din yung relationship ng squad. Not controlling, not complicated.. It feels good to watch them.
  • 🌻SOBRANG FEEL GOOD NG DRAMA.. 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙚𝙖 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙮 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙤𝙣... Ganung feels.

Pero reminder lang ulit, we all have our own preferences. This is just my opinion. Not all people like melodramas. Most drama fans love or prefer to watch intense scenes, yung madaming clima, madaming up and downs, madaming conflicts. If you’re one of those people, this drama is not for you. Walang antagonist to. Walang masyadong conflicts na sinesettle. It’s mostly character development.

If you're looking for a sign to watch A Piece Of Your Mind, then this is it.

PS. When I watched the preview of the final episode, akala ko madidisappoint ako. But then.. When I watched it, ghorl, it’s the most satisfying ending ever. Sobrang ganda!

XOXO,
