Finally, SOURI!

After three years of manifesting, I finally got to visit Souri's permanent store!

Ever since becoming a fan of Win Metawin, visiting a Souri store has been on my fangirl bucket list, even when they didn't have one yet. Souri started as an online macaron shop. We manifested a physical store, and voilà, three years later, I've been to one. I know I've been using this phrase a lot lately but visiting Souri is a DREAM COME TRUE!

It was funny actually. Before we got here, we had been experimenting on how to get Souri from Thailand to the Philippines. My first Souri experience was not actually a good one because we ordered it directly from Thailand, asked to send it through DHL and it went through customs for days, forgot how many days, still edible when it arrived but not the best. Though I wanna tell you it's definitely not their fault, we just took the risk because we really want it. We paid quite a lot for it but it's worth the try. My next Souri experience was from group buys or from a friend who went on vacation to Thailand. I got them so perfectly fine but you know, nothing beats eating them fresh from the store! Right? Right!

Of course, it's my ever first agenda on my first day in Thailand. There are a few things I am excited about getting there. Firstly, I can't wait to try the macarons straight-up from the Souri shelf. Secondly, I have been looking forward to tasting their French toast! Because this girl right here, is a French toast enthusiast, I've been trying it at every cafe I visit if it's on their menu. And thirdly, to finally take THAT Souri cafe aesthetic photos! I've been doing it to a lot of cafes, I shouldn't miss my dream one!

It was fortunate that I had friends staying near Emsphere, where their permanent store is located, so they arrived there very early. They had to! Since it's Win's concert season, many international fans, like me, want to go there as well, so the line was long even before the mall opened. Pretty lucky, we got our seats and ate there comfortably.

The experience?

First of all, I love how consistent Souri is with its vibe and aesthetic. All cute, candy, and girly. It's so pleasing to the eye! Second of all, THEY SERVE GOOD COFFEE! Like I really didn't expect much initially because, after all, they're more focused on their mains, the macarons. I also tried the drinks on their menu but my fave is the Strawberry and Orange Soda, the Lemon Yuzu Soda as well.

FRENCH TOAST?

I am not sure if I am just biased or what, but the French Toast is heavenly. Enough to order nothing else in my 3 visits! LOL. Though I really wanna try the other desserts, I really never thought of that anymore. LOL.

And finally, the MACARONS!! I got to try other flavors than those I tried and still did not disappoint. You know what I loved most about Souri Macarons is that, once you try it out, it gives you the impression that the flavors are very much well thought of. Though some macarons are a bit too sweet for my taste, I believe they are crafted to be perfectly paired with their drinks. The macaron flavors give off a classy taste, making you think of tea parties!

Say hi to the cutest Souri staff, she's so adorable!

I also think I've shared enough. When I was there, I also visited their other store in Central World and I finally got to try their Madeleines! Someday, it's gonna be a Souri pilgrim!
