How's everyone?

It took me an hour or so to decide on what's gonna be the title of this blog post.
Suddenly I remember our gorgeous Floor Manager, she's selecting for some items my team mate brought and when she found something she liked she said "Miranda-ish"
So I hope you don't mind the title because basically the outfit I'm wearing today is very me.

I woke up an hour before the shift and that means I am running late. I have the habit of contemplating on what  to wear before going to sleep and I my mind is battling on deciding if I'm going to wear my typical Midriff and Skater Skirt. With no success, I woke up panicking because I don't know what to wear. And well, since I panicked I ended up wearing the typical Sunshine-ish style.

One cute thing though is that the bottoms that I am wearing is actually a pair of shorts. Not skirt. But the skirty type. I got it online from a friend. The top I am wearing was from Chic Boxroom and it took a long time for me to finally wear it. This time it went well with my skirty shorts.

Hey guys. Let me tell you upfront, this is gonna be a bit cheesy and all. I don't really do this a lot. And this is gonna be an open letter to my man. It is his 24th birthday today. I just wanna let everyone know how thankful I am of him. Of God for giving him to me. 

But here he is again, my Prince Charming!!! 

I don't know how to start this. But I have to anyway. So I think I'll start it with Happy Birthday!!

First of all, I wanna thank you for everything. For the love and for the patience. I never was perfect.I am not your dream girl but you showed me enough to make me feel I'm the best girl in the world. I know there have been a lot of times you've thought of giving up our relationship because of the bad times we've been through. But you stayed. You stayed to rescue me in everything. I've been bad, I've been insensitive, I have my moods and you're just there like water going with my flow. The best thing about you is that you never fail to make me feel special. Which honestly, I'm afraid sometimes, that I can't equally love you the way you love me. But thank you for always covering the holes. For all those times I came short. Thank you for being the best partner. 

Thank you for those little things. Let me specify it for you to know I appreciate every little thing you do for me. For making me coffee and always preparing my meal whenever you're available. For always taking time to listen to my rants. For alwasys doing my laundry. For keeping up with my childish moments and laziness. For being the best dad to our Lucas. Thank you for being there when I'm not around for him. Thank you for being responsible. I know that having a family came abruptly and I know that we're not ready yet. But thank you for accepting the role as a father for such short notice.

I can't blab about everything you are to me. But what I'm really trying to say is YOU ARE SO MUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON. You have one of the best hearts, you are one of the gentlest man. You are one in a million. And this is not sugar coating at all. I am not being biased. But I can just ask anyone who knew you for a month, for a year, or in your lifetime and they could never agree more. Because you are awesome to those whom you just met and to those whom you are with forever. 

These words are not enough I know. I may not say this that much but I love you. And another honest confession, it's hard to imagine life without you. It's losing my legs or losing my sight if that happens. So basically all I wanted is to be with you for the rest of our lives. Let's grow old together. Let's take chances together. It's never gonna be easy. We have to exert so much effort. We have to make Lucas a better man together. And we can make it. You are not perfect, I am not perfect either. But I think we're just perfect for each other. Let's be the best Mama and Papa for Lucas.

Hello there! We had this very sudden Dress Code at the office last Thursday. Super short notice. We should all be wearing Pink T shirt.  It should be T shirt and it should be in pink. So for the girl who's not into T shirt. I went last minute shopping for a shirt and the funniest thing is that I'm really not sure if I got the pink or not. You see, I'm color blind. When you thought that it's only for male. Well, fact is girls can be color blind too. It's rare though. I think it's all about genes and chromosomes. But in simple understanding, men got higher probability of being color blind than women. So it's still possible for us to be color blind. Unfortunately, I have it in my genes!

 

Well anyway, So I got this shirt. The only shirt that suits me. Got it from children's section at NCCC Departments Store. I got the large size for kids. Paired it with a tutu skirt. I got it from one of my thrift shopping escapades. I was actually thinking of wearing Chuck Taylors but I couldn't find it and I was running late. So I ended up wearing my over used pink rain boots.

My Fiance is really not fond of giving me flowers. For the entire 2 years of us being together, this was the first time. I actually thanked him because he went beyond his shyness to bring flowers in public just to give me this. And he also bought me a cake.

 And we decided to celebrate Mother's day out. We're supposed to bring Lucas to a playroom at NCCC Mall called ZooFari but I was too dumb to think he's not allowed yet.

But it all went well. Lucas enjoyed Worlds of Fun instead. He was actually dancing with the people and its amazing how he his laugh can make my day completely awesome.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Being a Mom is actually the most fulfilling thing ever in my entire 26 years of existence. It changed me in and out. I couldn't even imagine how I turned from being irresponsible to being so responsible this time when it comes to being a working mom. To tell you honestly before Lucas happened, I have the habit of jumping one job to another. But I don't know if it's the company or maybe it's my motivation that I was able to stay for almost 6 months now with no records of tardiness or absences at all. The only downside of it is that I don't get to spend much time with my son. But I think that's a lot better than not being with him at all.

This is one of the best things ever in my life. And I thank God for it.
