Aiming to make archery as a popular sport, they first opened at the SM Malll of Asis last 2009 and in 2011 in Ortigas Center, Pasig City with a bigger range from 4-labe 10 meter distance to a 9-lane 18 meter range. To present an alternative activity to sports enthusiasts as well as those in pursuit of new hobbies, this 2016, the company just opened it's first provincial branch in Davao City. Among their basic offerings includes archery packages, range rentals, equipment selling, equipment repairs and servicing. Soon there will be archery lessons, outdoor archery range setup and facilitation. 

I just found out that Gandiva is named after a mythical bow in the ancient epic poem Mahabharata. This is definitely a new found hobby to the Davaoenos. Not just limiting to first timers, the proviince has a few enthusiast in archery, Gandiva will surely keep up to their needs. 

It was a very exciting and very awesome experience to try it out for the first time.There were people who kindly assisted us since it was our first time. I just had a hard time because I forgot to bring my glasses. If I only brought my glasses that time I could have joined the contest. But the again, I am still happy I get to try it. It gets pretty tiring in the arms though because the bows are heavy but they say you'll get used to it eventually.
