The Heirs. The Story and Their Fashion

by - 4:01:00 PM

Finally! I finished The Heirs. I maybe sad because it ended but I am relieved because if I am still to watch more episodes I think I'd end up at the hospital or an infraction. So you see, I work at night and I am of course expected to sleep by day. But ever since I started obsessing over the drama, I really had a hard time stopping myself from watching it. It's like when you tried eating this food for the first time and you can't stop? Have you ever tried that? I'm sure everyone else did. Seriously, I went to work Saturday 12am , watched the series at home after shift until 10pm so that's basically 22 hours with no sleep. Insane right?

Anyway, what's with the drama? Oh it's just hot Lee Min Ho surfing and shirtless on the first episode. Haha Kidding aside, It's just like any other fairy tale rich boy and poor girl story with an awesome cast.

The drama is all about a group of high school inheritors. It focuses on Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) an heir to one of the biggest company in Korea and was sent to America to study but was really kicked out by his elder half- brother Kim Won just because he want's their company by himself. When he was in America, he bumped into Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye), a hardworking, housemaid's daughter who had the chance to visit U.S.A to check on her sister. The meeting with her sister did not turn out to be what she was expecting and ended up staying with Kim Tan. They had the connection but Kim Tan's fiancee interrupted. Eventually Cha Eun Sang and Kim Tan returned to Korea. They met again, caught in a love triangle with Choi Young Do and basically with the rich boy, poor girl dilemma, Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang put forth all efforts to love each other freely.

The story is almost alike with Boys Over Flowers. But The Heirs also tackles other relationships like friendship and family. Another main reason why I was hooked with the series is because the characters have a very fabulous fashion style.

I'm especially pleased that the boys are more masculine with their choices of fashion in the series. Don't get me wrong please. I'm not gonna explain further.

Cha Eun Sang's character wears t shirt/pullovers/jacket paired with jeans and sneakers.

But what I like the most is Rachel Yoo's character. She's said to be the Paris Hilton of the school.

It's just sooo Blair Waldorf!

Lee Bo Na's choices are fab too.

And the best among all are the Mothers! They're exceptional!

I never really have answered the question why I am so hooked to this drama.
Well, one thing... the drama touched my heart. The story teaches you a lot. Makes you wanna ponder more. It might be one of those fairy tale stories. But the tragedy sometimes can happen to me, to you or to anyone else. Money can't buy happiness. Power is nothing. Love endures. Happiness is everything.

So the question is...
